Important Notice
Event Manager is a project built by a student developer and is still actively under development. Features, policies, and security measures may change over time. By using this service, you acknowledge that it is provided as-is and you proceed at your own risk. We are not responsible for any data loss or unexpected issues that may arise during this development phase.
When you use Event Manager, we collect the following types of information:
- Account Information — Your name, username, and a hashed version of your password when you register.
- Event & Participant Data — Names, IDs, phone numbers, and check-in records that you upload or create within the app.
- Usage Activity — Actions performed inside the app such as logins, imports, and admin operations.
Your data is used solely for running the Event Manager service:
- To verify your identity and keep your session active.
- To store and retrieve your event and participant data.
- To enforce your account's plan limits and manage upgrades.
- To improve the app's functionality over time.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties — ever.
Your data is stored in Firebase Realtime Database. Passwords are hashed with SHA-256 before storage — we never store plain-text passwords.
However, since this is an actively developed project, we cannot guarantee complete security at all times. Avoid storing highly sensitive personal information beyond what is needed for your event.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Firebase (by Google) is used as our backend infrastructure — their data handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Access and export your event data at any time.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data via WhatsApp.
- Update your account information through the app settings.
As this project continues to grow, this policy may be updated. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy. We recommend checking this page periodically.
